About this work area
As Recruiter, your responsibilities will include servicing the New South Wales market, encompassing all units in the greater Sydney area including Tempe, Rhodes, Marsden Park and the DC/CDC. You will execute efficient, effective and consistent recruitment activities in order to attract and recruit talented candidates to fill job vacancies. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: • Creating an outstanding candidate experience from initial candidate contact to job offer that is efficient and aligned with our values. • Partnering with hiring managers to gain unique understanding of positions as assigned. • Screen, interview and prepare candidate information within an appropriate and consistent timeline. • Utilise global tools, programs and direct recruiting techniques to identify, attract, and engage qualified candidates for assigned and anticipated vacancies. • Communicate effectively and proactively throughout the recruiting process. • Foster and manage effective relations with stakeholders within the country organisation to ensure alignment with sourcing strategies while managing stakeholder expectations. • Integrate the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion approach and knowledge into the recruitment process.
As a Recruiter you exhibit a deep passion for people and a strong commitment to enhancing the candidate and co-worker experience through perfect recruitment processes. You act as an ambassador for IKEA’s culture and values, thriving in a dynamic environment where tactical and operational tasks are combined. Your ability to set and achieve goals, complete tasks, and deliver results is admirable. However, this role isn’t for the faint-hearted. It involves consistent high volumes and requires exceptional stakeholder management skills. To be considered: • You excel at working independently, and able to influence others, taking initiative and responsibility. • You have effective verbal and written communication skills. • Superior administration and organisational abilities. • Have previous involvement in recruitment and selection processes. • Leadership experience is beneficial but not necessary.
