    • IKEA Sheffield are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Bistro Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team within the Bistro and Swedish Food Market and Food Prep .

    WHAT WE OFFER

    • Start date of employment will be: 16th November 2025
    • Competitive hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
    • 39 Hours working 5 days per week and 3 out of 4 weekends. Availability to work a variety of shifts between 7.00am -10pm.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    • Experience in food preparation and adherence to food safety and regulations.
    • Prior Fast-Food experience is a plus.
    • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
    • Be Self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
    • Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
    • Our ideal candidate is passionate and friendly with a roll up your sleeve mindset to work alongside the team and delivery a great customer experience.


    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    • The role will involve a variety of tasks, where you will be required to serve food, take payment at tills, clean and clear the restaurant and work behind the scenes to prepare food.
    • Customer focused, by working together to create the best customer experience. Listen, act, and exceed their expectations every day.
    • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
    • Support your colleagues, lend a hand, and create a positive work environment, contributing to a proud team.
    • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
