  • Who you are

    (4 Afternoon shifts and 1 Morning shift)

    - Experience in Health, Safety, and Security, ideally in a retail environment.
    - Strong knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and security processes.
    - Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate effectively at all levels.
    - Skilled in risk identification, safety audits, and training delivery.
    - Analytical mindset with good numerical skills and a risk-based approach to decision-making.
    - You have a Valid Security License, First Aid Certification ( Intermediate).
    - Ability to work independently, conduct safety audits, deliver training, and identify risks effectively.

    Your responsibilities

    '- Promote risk management and support risk-aware decision-making aligned with unit goals.
    - Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Security legislation and company rules.
    - Conduct safety audits, identify risks, and implement controls to minimize hazards.
    - Train co-workers on Health & Safety practices and workplace safety requirements.
    - Deliver and facilitate required training programs for compliance and security.
    - Report and track incidents to identify progress and improvement areas.

    Please be advised that this position is located at the IKEA CDC Richmond Warehouse (7031 York Rd, Richmond, BC V6W 0B6), not at the IKEA Richmond Store. The two locations are approximately 10 kilometers apart.

    The starting rate/ salary for this position is 26.48 CAD
