  • IKEA Cardiff are looking to welcome a Night Warehouse Team Manager to lead our amazing fulfilment operations team.

    WHAT WE OFFER
    • Starting salary from £27,956.20 per annum, based on competence and experience, which can be discussed at interview.
    • Additional nightshift allowance of £2.25 an hour for hours worked between 22:00pm and 06:00am.
    • Additional forklift allowance of £1.50 an hour for hours worked when operating a forklift.

    • 39 hours a week, working 5 days per week, including alternate weekends. Earliest shift start times will be from midnight and latest shift finishing times 10:30am.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
    • We feel that a background in fulfilment or logistics is important, as you will play a key role in the inbound fulfilment operations.
    • Leadership experience in a fast-paced environment is important, with the ability to prioritise and organise your own and others workload.
    • Business-minded approach with a clear customer focus and ability to meet agreed budgets and goals with the ability to make quick decisions and take personal initiatives, open to change and highly flexible.
    • Leading others, you will have good communication skills that can assist in building relationships with co-workers and customers.
    • Ability to implement structured ways of working within your area of responsibility, with problem-solving experience and strong computer literacy.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
    • Leading the operations for all inbound deliveries through the night from truck to warehouse floor.
    • Ensuring efficient daily Fulfilment Operations for maximum stock availability and readiness for our customers.
    • Responsible for coaching, developing, and inspiring a hard-working team, maintaining a work environment which supports equality, diversity and inclusion and wellbeing.
    • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment, adhering to IKEA health, safety, and security regulations, and the Code of Conduct.
    • Working with the team to achieve business goals, review workloads to ensure daily volume handling and meet seasonal demands, all while keeping costs low.
