We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Software & Hardware Asset Leader to join and assist us in building asset management capability within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven understanding and documented history of managing technology assets in a complex and rapidly evolving organization. It seems to us that you are deeply engaged with the subject, possess an inquiring and inventive mindset, and align closely with the values upheld by Ikea. As a leader, you build by example and inspire people and organizations to achieve extraordinary results. Further on you have a minimum of 10 years of progressive and diverse experience in establishing asset management capabilities, are an expert in licensing models, understand compliance requirements, and are aware of industry trends in the field. A formal qualification in business management, and technology, with relevant certifications e.g., CSAM, CHAMP; ITIL, etc. will be an added advantage.
Who you are
We are establishing a new capability area within Ingka digital organization that will develop and steer software and hardware asset management within the organization, securing optimal outcomes and value from all investments in the area across operational, tactical, and strategic layers. We will optimize software and hardware usage across the organization, ensuring compliance with agreements, and support the entire lifecycle of the assets working closely with our suppliers and internal stakeholders. For this ROLE To be effective in the role, you will; • Develop and implement comprehensive asset management strategies and policies for the assigned category/products/area to optimize software and hardware utilization and minimize compliance risks. • Together with product teams, maintain an accurate inventory of all assets, including licenses, installations, and usage data. Manage entitlements, and subscriptions across the organization, ensuring proper allocation, utilization, and cost-effectiveness for the assigned category/products/ area. Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits as required for the assigned scope. • Working in collaboration with procurement organization, monitor agreements, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance and conduct regular reconciliations for the assigned category/products/ area. • Analyse assets need and usage data to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and optimization of deployments for the assigned category/products/ area. • Continuously assess and improve asset management processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Provide recommendations for implementing best practices in asset management for the assigned category/products/ area.
