  • Who you are

We are looking for a tax professional with experience in cross-border Employment Tax and Compliance matters. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, can explain complicated matters in an effective and simple way to our many internal and external stakeholders, and can work independently.

You stay true to IKEA’s values, build trust and find solutions together both internally and externally.

You have a university degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience (or 7 years of equivalent practice).

    Your responsibilities

In this role, you will provide expertise to the Ingka Group organisations in a proactive way on Employment Tax and Compliance matters for their global workforce.

    Your main responsibilities will include:

    • Support and coordinate the tax framework for employment tax and compliance matters for our global workforce.
    • Offer expert advice on immigration and tax compliance on an individual basis, ensuring the mobility operations team and local mobility specialists understand and adhere to necessary legal requirements.
    • Collaborate closely with the Mobility Operations Team to ensure tax compliance in all mobility policies and procedures.
    • Support the creation and implementation of training programmes that enhance tax and compliance knowledge across global and local teams.
    • Act as a point of contact for employment tax inquiries within the mobility operations team and initiate communication to raise awareness of compliance risks associated with our global workforce.

This role sits in Global Mobility and reports to the Group CoE Tax Mobility Manager.

    Together as a team

IKEA believes that people are at the heart of our business. We create a better everyday life together by living our shared values and safeguarding our unique culture. To be able to create an inspiring IKEA experience, we need to make sure our co-workers have the preconditions to meet our customers in the best possible way.

The purpose of the People and Culture (HR) function is to secure competence and organisation to reach our business ambitions, and this is where you come in.

    Questions and support? Let's connect!

We will make sure to allocate a lot of time for questions about the role during the interview part of the process. If you have any questions about the position, please contact recruiter Juliana Picon at juliana.picon@ingka.com .

Please note that due to GDPR reasons, we do not accept applications by email, and we want you to send us your application (CV and cover letter) in English. We look forward to receiving your application and will review candidates continuously, so please submit your application as soon as possible, but no later than the 9th September 2025.

Studies show that members of underrepresented communities do not apply for jobs unless they are 100% “qualified”. If this is part of the reason you hesitate to apply, we would like to consider it and give it a chance. Maybe your profile fits our needs much better than you think. We look forward to receiving your application. [From: “Why Women Don’t Apply for Jobs Unless They’re 100% Qualified” by Tara Sophia Mohr, August 2014]
