We are looking for interns for our internal staff magazine that we call Älmhultsbladet and for our communication team.
As an intern, you will be part of the communication team daily operations. We will have two positions; One more specific to our internal staff magazine Älmhultsbladet, securing timely stories, working across IKEA functions and, in spread articles, news and information about all IKEA companies in Älmhult, Älmhult as a place as well as highlights from IKEA worldwide. The other position is to be part of the general communication team and our daily operations, as well as some specifics areas of following up on reach and impact.
Job specific key tasks and responsibilities will involve
Contributing to the daily operations supporting the weekly publication of our staff magazine including producing, collaborate on, edit texts in the form of news articles, feature stories and information that effectively carries the right messages and publish these.
Develop and try new concepts to contribute to future issues, bank stories and execute the layout of Älmhultsbladet.
Plan for, prepare and do interviews with many different IKEA colleagues and teams and support with translations of stories English to Swedish.
Conduct mappings and research, create analysis and come with recommendations on how to improve reach and impact.

You are a student within Media and Communication related field of education.
You have a flexible mindset and enjoy networking and building new relations.
You get energy from working in a fast-paced environment and from quick decision making and reprioritization.
Qualification
Some writing, copy and experience of editorial writing is beneficial.
Strong English and Swedish writing ability.
Basic InDesign knowledge and Photoshop knowledge.
Some project management skills and experience of editorial planning is beneficial.
Some experience of research and interviews is beneficial.
Layout and web publishing experience is beneficial.

We are looking for internships for a minimum of two months. During your internship, you will have a dedicated IKEA Supervisor.
Internship period: March - June 2025.
