  • Who you are

    The purpose of this job is to drive profitable, sustainable growth by shaping and executing the country strategy for IKEA Business (B2B) and Financial Services. You’ll democratize access to simple, transparent, and sustainable finance and services, and integrate them seamlessly across the IKEA journey, from inspiration to purchase to long-term care, for both individuals and businesses.

    • Broad Financial Services Expertise: Deep understanding of payment infrastructure, issuing/acquiring, credit risk, partner economics, and FS product revenue models.
    • B2B Market Mastery: Knowledge of the local and global B2B landscape—SME and enterprise needs, decision cycles, procurement and invoicing, key account mechanics, and solution selling.
    • Regulatory Fluency: Strong grasp of local/global regulations impacting payments, credit, consumer duty, AML/KYC, data privacy—and the ability to translate regulation into strategy.
    • Customer & Multichannel Excellence: Track record improving conversion and loyalty across store and digital journeys; comfortable with CRM, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing.
    • Sustainability Mindset: Ability to embed sustainability in offers (green finance, circular models, responsible lending) consistent with IKEA’s values.
    • Data & P&L Ownership: Skilled in building business cases and managing P&L; fluent with KPI design, funnel analytics, and portfolio performance.
    • Partner & Change Leadership: Experienced in negotiating complex partnerships, vendor governance, and leading cross functional change (agile ways of working is a plus).

    • Drives strategy into measurable outcomes as a values-driven, commercial builder.
    • Balances P&L ownership with customer obsession, using data for clear decisions, simplifying complex problems, and designing effective customer journeys across store, remote selling, and digital.
    • Orchestrates strong partnerships, embedding risk and compliance by design while maintaining speed.
    • Coaches diverse teams, creates clarity in a matrix organization, and communicates with honesty and humility.
    • Engages hands-on when needed, considers long-term impact thoughtfully, and makes sustainable and affordable choices easy for the many.

    Your responsibilities

    • Lead & Inspire the Country Network: Build, coach, and empower a cross functional country team for IKEA Business & Financial Services. Create one plan and one set of goals across Retail, Store Operations, Remote Selling, Digital, Legal/Compliance, Risk, and Finance maximizing impact through collaboration and clear roles.
    • Own the Business & the P&L: Lead and develop the total IKEA Business and Financial Services portfolio in the country. Set targets, build business cases, plan and allocate budgets and resources, and manage performance to deliver agreed growth and profitability anchored in analytics and insights.
    • Turn Strategy into a Country Roadmap: Translate the vision into an executable 12–36 month roadmap, sequenced by impact and readiness. Anchor delivery in Country Business Plans and global/matrix direction, with clear stage gates, benefits tracking, and issue/risk management.
    • Orchestrate the Partner Ecosystem: Develop and govern strategic relationships with banks, PSPs, fintechs, and insurers in line with the IKEA Business & Financial Services Governance Framework. Negotiate commercials and SLAs, manage joint roadmaps, and ensure banking relationship alignment for Financial Services launches and operations.
    • Govern Risk & Compliance by Design: Ensure AML/KYC, credit risk, data privacy, and consumer protection requirements are designed into journeys and operations. Lead audits, remediation, and continuous improvement with Legal/Compliance, Risk, and global functions.
    • Commercial Activation Across Channels: Integrate FS and IKEA Business offers into store, remote selling, and digital journeys (e.g., credit at checkout, B2B invoicing, leasing/subscriptions). Equip co workers with training, tools, and incentives. Drive campaigns that increase attach rates, approval rates, and conversion.
    • Acquire, Activate & Retain B2B Customers: Grow IKEA Business sign ups, active accounts, and lifetime value via segmented offers, lifecycle CRM, key account management, and solution selling tailored to SMEs, project buyers, and enterprise accounts.
    • Relentless Customer Experience Improvement: Redesign end to end journeys to remove friction and make sustainable choices the easy choice—improving approval times, fulfillment, self service, and after sales care. Measure impact through NPS/CSAT and conversion improvements.
    • Program & Change Leadership: Lead cross functional planning and execution rhythms (QBRs, steerco, stand-ups). Remove blockers, align priorities, and ensure communications, training, and adoption across stores and digital teams.
    • Sustainability & Circularity Embedded: Integrate green financing, circular models (leasing, buy back, refurbished), and responsible lending into the portfolio. Track contribution to People & Planet Positive targets.
