About the role
As one of two inhouse graphic designers / visual content creators, you play a key role in the Communication production team to help develop and produce internal and corporate communication content and assets connected to the IKEA Concept and other key areas of the IKEA Brand. You take an active part in the entire process, from ideation and creation to pre-production, production and final delivery. You use both brain and hands to get the work done and you are not afraid to take and give space, or to challenge requests and proposals when it is in the best interest of the brand to stay consistent and true to the values. You work across a variety of channels and formats, together in a team or independently, depending on the set up of each project.
About the team
The Communication Production team is a supporting team within the Inter IKEA Communication function, helping a variety of communication colleagues to produce efficient and effective internal and corporate communication. The team consists of 9 production specialists in 5 different areas (visual content, written/spoken content, motion media/broadcasting, localization/translation and platform/intranet development) who each join different communication projects across the organization to secure the right level of quality to the projects.

About you
You have both training and practical experience in the area of graphic design (minimum 5 years) and visual content creation for a variety of channels and format, including motion media. You have helped brands and organizations both coming up with visual concepts and ideas as well as applying existing concept and ideas to new projects and channels.
You are a multi-tasker, ready to take your role where it is needed and ready adapt to changing circumstances. You have worked with a wide variety of formats and channels, including animation and motion media – and are curious about new developments and innovations in related fields. You enjoy working both in a team as well as on your own and have a good structure of managing your own time. If you have experience working with the IKEA Brand, that is a strong plus.
More Information
This is a temporary position for 18 months, reporting to the Communication production manager. 40 hours per week, with base either in our office in Delft, the Netherlands or in Hyllie/Malmö, Sweden. Some work travel will be required.
