    What you'll be doing day to day

    Have you dreamed of crafting and leading digital content strategy to help billions of people create a better everyday life at home? The Sr. Digital Content Strategist is an amazing opportunity to bring your content strategy experience to help IKEA achieve that vision.

    You will work in highly collaborative cross-functional teams across UX, Marketing, Research, Product, Data and Engineering to deliver world-class digital experiences, crafting and leading content strategy. You’ll also help to lead content strategy workshops, drive education around content strategy, create toolkits and more to ensure we have a mature, human-centred content approach.

    You are passionate about and highly experienced in creating and delivering digital experiences that have a big impact on people’s lives and their relationship with a company’s products and services. As a seasoned team player, you understand that a flexible approach is critical to doing good work. You understand how to drive change and accept change, and you have experience navigating a complex environment.

    • You have experience in crafting Digital Content Strategy in an omnichannel setting
    • You have a good understanding of adaptive, personalised content and content modelling, and can explain the benefits of these approaches to the business and transform these into requirements for digital product implementation
    • You are comfortable working with a wide variety of content-producing teams to drive a cohesive content experience
    • Helping to transform content strategy use cases into best practices and create new ways of working with content in a complex environment
    • You enjoy creating a network of colleagues and partners, and are happy to present new ideas to product, marketing, and design
    • You enjoy following changing digital trends and understanding and contributing to innovative content solutions that meet human needs
    • You know how to continually benchmark against industry standards to continuously validate and improve deliverables
    • You have experience working in an agile, highly collaborative team of global and local marketing, experience design, product, tech, data co-workers

    This role will be based in Malmö, Sweden, and reports to the Director of Digital Experience Content Strategy; our team of content strategists and UX writers is based in both Amsterdam and Malmö, Sweden. Our organisation also has co-workers in Madrid, Shanghai, and Philadelphia.
