    Job description

    To be part of the finance organization in IKEA Mexico supporting Service Office and Store and by that support the growth of IKEA businesses by ensuring accurate and timely work practices on:

    • Recording and follow-up of invoices 
    • Check and validate with tax area the fiscal requirements of the invoices
    • Vendor reconciliations of vendors and liabilities
    • Prepare monthly schedules and ensure no unreconciled transactions.
    •  Review of proposal of payments 
    • Application of payments
    •  Follow up the bank payments
    •  Ensure timely, accurate and consistent compliance with the accounting standards and tax regulations of the recorded financial transaction.
    • Assist and prepare schedules and documents for statutory audit, internal audit or tax audit.
    • Support and provide training to Store/Service Office Finance relating to AP process                                                                                                                                                                            

     

     


    Qualification

    Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
    • Very good level of English.
    • At least 4 years working experience on Accounts Payable
    • Knowledgeable in local tax legislation and corporate requirements on the AP process
    • Good communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • Knowledge on Microsoft Dynamics MVBC will be an advantage
    • Exposure in retail industry will be an advantage
    • Experience in leading a team is required                                                                                                              •  Good command of written and spoken English and local language
    • Great attention to details
    • Ability to work with various departments and build strong working relations
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment
    • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
    • Ability to work independently in a team and in a multinational environment, with minimal supervision
    • Ability to work with multiple task and to make priorities
