Product Quality Navigator - RA Cooking & Eating

Our goal is to support the many people in their everyday cooking and eating activities and deliver a wide range of products, designed for both cooking healthy in a sustainable way, and enjoying eating them together. 

We are a team of about 60 colleagues who work across the Cooking & Eating business. Together we focus on developing an excellent cooking & eating offer to enable a healthy, sustainable, and enjoyable life around food. For the many people and always with the low price in mind. 

We are now looking for a Product Quality Navigator to guide our development teams in enabling a safer life at home for our customers and contribute to developing and maintaining high quality products. 

About the job 

As a Product Quality Navigator (PQN) you will, together with our development teams, lead Safety, Quality and Compliance related product deviations and proactively initiate activities across the business to improve the IKEA range. In Range Area Cooking & Eating we want to create trust towards all our customers in which the PQN is a critical role.  

 In this assignment your main responsibilities will be:  

• Monitor and analyze quality and safety performance of running range based on deviations and customer feedback. 

• Deliver data-based deviation statistics with insights, recommendations and learning packages to support news development, product improvement and portfolio planning.  

• Represent and establish a strong quality, safety, and compliance culture in the organization. 

• Facilitate Product Safety Risk Assessment and Systematic Problem Solving. 

• Manage reported Quality, Safety and Compliance issues and act as key person in the dialog with different stakeholders.  

• Collect data for authority reporting and safety investigations.  

• Contribute to the development of working methods and relevant tools and share best practice, supporting Quality, Safety and Compliance deviations and improvements. 

Qualifications 

You have a University Degree in Engineering or relevant experience in engineering or product development. Experience in quality improvements, interpretation of data-based measurements and tools such as Systematic problem solving and Root Cause analysis. You thrive in being the ambassador for Quality, Safety and Compliance in the IKEA range. 

As a person you are a team player with good analytical skills and high ability to coordinate, lead and inspire others. You have a passion for sharing knowledge and the ability to explain complex matters in an easy way. You are good at creating your own network and at working in teams, making things happen by involving and engaging people. For this position we highly value great communication skills and the ability to lead yourself to make things happen.

This position is a permanent position based in Älmhult, Sweden. 

Älmhult has commuting possibilities with hourly trains from Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg three times a day

We offer a flexibility working from home but believe that your presence with your collegues is important why we expect you to work the majority of your time at the office.
