    Who you are

    We are looking for you with a strong passion for home interiors – who understands how people live and loves turning everyday home challenges into stylish, practical solutions.
    To complement our existing team, and the tasks ahead, we are looking for someone experienced in working with home furnishing and interior design.
    Working knowledge in design software such as REVIT and/or AutoCAD, Microsoft Office makes the onboarding more efficient.

    We are looking for the following capabilities
    • Strong communicative skills, capable of guiding peers and influencing stakeholders to achieve common goals.
    • Ability to work autonomously and collaborate when needed
    • A knack for blending commercial, aesthetic, and practical skills
    • A talent for generating, visualizing, and presenting new ideas.

    About this work area

    In this role, you plan, organize, and physically implement and maintain the areas in the IKEA Älmhult Store, working closely with your Commercial partners in Sales, Food, Local Marketing, and Logistics. The job requires You will use the IKEA product range to show the distinct and different styles that appeal to many individual tastes and needs within the local market. You will actively be contributing to gathering insights from home visits and translating this knowledge into local solutions that exceed customer expectations and reflect home furnishing the IKEA way.
    The interior designer is expected to stay updated on trends and our customers' shopping patterns to provide a simple and pleasant shopping experience

    Collaboration is key, and you'll follow routines and take responsibility while working together with other functions to quickly act on commercial opportunities. You’ll also ensure high quality, simplicity, efficiency, and cost-consciousness in your daily work. With the visitor experience in mind, you ensure a strong, positive visual impression on the shop floor; ensuring that your areas of responsibility are in top-notch condition.
