    About the job

    Reporting to the IKEA for Business Sales Manager, this Associate’s responsibilities are to support business development activities, including establishing, verifying leads and following up through multi-touchpoint initiatives to provide a base for sales activities, to develop sales in an efficient and effective way in all media, to attract more customers to come more often and buy more. He/she will optimise sales priorities, commercial activities, ensuring the right forecasts for our total offer to ensure an enjoyable, convenient and successful shopping and buying experience.

    Your assignment

    • You enable IKEA to build a stellar reputation for professional and prompt customer service through the creation of a rewarding end to end journey in a different customer touchpoint
    • You ensure that all incoming enquiries, whether received via designated IKEA for Business website, from walk-in customers in the stores, via email and/or CCC contact number, or from outreaching sales activities, are properly recorded, commercially assessed, and are assigned to the respective business units and monitor the progress for timely execution
    • You coordinate and liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely execution and accuracy of marketing materials, ensuring they are updated with latest information related to services, products and stock availability, and the service provider teams to ensure smooth delivery and installation
    • You support a customer-friendly and efficient execution of the payments, exchange and returns processes, etc.
    • You ensure that IKEA’s competitive advantage within Sustainability is incorporated into general marketing message, in support of the overall image of IKEA for Business
    • You work actively with range changes, commercial activities and department changes, ensure balanced operational excellence in daily operations to enhance the easy buying experience in line with Commercial Review requirements

    Qualification

    Your profile

    • You have passion for exceeding customer shopping experience expectations and for sales/selling both IKEA products and services
    • You can present yourself well in lengthy customer interactions paying attention to detail, listening attentively to customer needs and being flexible in your approach to provide inspiring solutions
    • You are passionate in home furnishing and actively learn about their features and benefits, and I proactively share this knowledge with the customers and colleagues
    • You have a broad understanding of how to optimise the customer experience across physical and digital touchpoints
    • You are enthusiastic, with strong desire to be part of a positive and challenging environment
    • You are highly organized, have a strong stakeholder management ability, strong analytical and database structuring & management skills
    • You are proficient in Microsoft Office especially MS Excel & Powerpoint
    • You enjoy working with others to create a positive and different-with-a-meaning solutions, in a fast-paced and future-oriented environment that is focused on people's everyday life at home
