  • Who you are
IKEA, a global leader in home furnishing solutions, has been expanding in France for over 40 years with the same vision: "to improve the everyday life of the many people." Driven by our culture and values, we are passionate about life at home.

At IKEA, we live the Swedish culture daily. And, as the Swedes do, we address each other informally, regardless of our position or unit. That's why we do it from this announcement and throughout the recruitment process!

    Your profile:

Enthusiastic about understanding IKEA's activities and customer needs to contribute to improving operations with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Customer-oriented, making it your main priority and considering the potential impact of decisions on the customer.
Versatile, enjoying working on strategic, tactical, and operational topics.
Analytical, with a desire to analyse business opportunities from the perspective of customers and the market, inspired by challenges.
Naturally, you share IKEA's vision, values, and culture.

    Your skills:

Interest in distribution activities, home furnishing, supply chain, and customer service.
Education in Logistics, Economics, Business Management, or similar.
Aptitude for IT, proficiency in the Office suite, and interest in IT solutions related to Sourcing and Customer Service Operations.
Good knowledge of legislation and regulations in the logistics fulfilment sector.
Ability to identify required actions, develop an implementation plan, and experience in problem-solving and improving work methods.
Financial skills and understanding of the financial impact on the entire network.
Ability to operate within a global context to achieve objectives at the country, market, and organisational levels.
Strong analytical skills to translate business and customer needs into development initiatives and creative solutions.
Excellent collaborator, able to build good relationships across the organisation and influence others in your area of expertise using your communication talents.
Adaptability and ability to address different internal or external stakeholders (suppliers).
What you'll be doing day to day
As a Service Sourcing Developer in an apprenticeship,

Your objective is to contribute to:

    Service procurement
    Development of mixed sourcing options
    Negotiations with service providers
Leading the process of market intelligence building, development of mixed sourcing options, development of a healthy pool of potential service partners, and fostering long-term relationships with suppliers in the market to ensure growth capacity and make IKEA the preferred partner in the market
Leading market activities, projects, and assigned sourcing initiatives to ensure results align with the objectives set within the growth plan
Global improvement projects and the development of the sourcing process at the market and global levels, including ways of working, tools, and work methods
    You will be responsible for:

Collecting internal needs and working with service providers to meet these needs
Contributing to decision-making based on data analysis
Administering service contracts and ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations
Ensuring the sustainability agenda is included in all business aspects directly related to strategic sourcing, prioritising a collaborative and customer-focused approach
Contacting carriers for all types of needs, so being comfortable with oral communication is important
For this position, you will report directly to the Sourcing Developer.

Being an apprentice at IKEA means being part of a cohort for which we organise dedicated events to encourage meetings, exchanges, and deepen the discovery of the company.
