You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
About this work area
As a Food Coordinator your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Contributing to the implementation of global and national compliance standards to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workers. • Ensuring that every customer has a consistent and excellent shopping experience by supporting the team to see through the customer’s eyes. • Applying the appropriate processes and actions daily to secure Food Safety, operational standards and reduce waste. • Applying the retail foundation and sales steering tools to optimise commerciality and secure excellence in operations. • Overseeing the daily operations of the commercial and/or operations team, including allocating tasks and coordinating breaks, while analysing processes to continually improve in daily operations and commercial activities. • Contributing to the implementation of the unit business plan, IKEA Retail Food business plan and other action plans including the implementation of the global and national sustainability strategies.
As a Food Coordinator you have: • Demonstrated ability to coordinate the day-to-day operations on the floor and delegate tasks to others based on priorities. • A customer centric mind-set, keeping the customer’s experience at the forefront of everything you do. • Dedication to customer satisfaction, acting upon feedback to provide a safe, healthy, affordable and joyful food experience. • Excellent communications skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels.
