Are you ready to take IKEA’s digital capabilities to the next level? As a Data & Machine Learning Domain manager, you will play a pivotal role in our journey to create a unique omnichannel retailer, seamlessly blending the physical and digital world and building an IKEA for the digital world. We contribute by setting the digital agenda to keep IKEA as a leading home furnishing retailer in an uncertain and fast-moving environment. We drive the development, provision, and operation of our digital products and services using new and existing technology and agile delivery methods to deliver at pace.

As a Domain Manager in our Data and Analytics organisation, you are a thought leader in how IKEA can utilise data and AI to achieve our business ambitions. You are accustomed to joining forces with leaders across the business to shift mindsets, create curiosity about doing things in new ways, and drive impact on the bottom line. You will be responsible for leading leaders and teams to develop and implement strategic data assets, data-driven insights and AI solutions for efficiency and effectiveness for our Customer Support and Remote Sales organisation. You are a natural member of the cross-functional leadership team between retail and digital.

Are you ready to take on the challenge?

    • Strong expertise in data-driven digital product development, including data processing, analysis, and knowledge extraction with improvement and deployment at scale.
    • A deep understanding of customer behaviours, trends, and best practices in the chat and conversational dimensions.

For this role, we see the need for:
    • Strong understanding of opportunities and limitations of modern data and analytics technologies.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading teams and leading leaders
    • Experience of a senior leadership role in a cross-functional environment with deep knowledge and understanding of the dynamics of operations and development
    • Advanced education within computer science, econometrics, mathematics or equivalent
    • Leadership that is both inclusive and empowering, focused on nurturing talent and instilling a culture of continuous learning and development and experience with people management.
    • Proven ability to build trustful relationships and communicate inspirationally with audiences of all sizes and seniority levels, ensuring clarity and impact.
    • Capability to frame business challenges, design effective solutions, calculate risks, deliver results, and follow up.
