We have established retail and digital areas with the objective accelerate and take leadership in the development of our Home Furnishing retail business, the core of Ingka.

We are now taking another step by establishing Xplore, that shall behalf of, and together with the businesses, functions and other stakeholders, challenge and deliver creative strategic explorations, innovations and partnerships to build new business concepts, solutions and insights with simplicity, speed and more from less - securing that IKEA and Ingka will be a leader in life at home and are living up to the IKEA vision 2030 and beyond.

With that said, we foresee you are a person with:

- Comprehensive understanding of IKEA vision, business idea, strategic landscape, business model & IKEA value chain
- Passionate about exploring and developing innovative ways for IKEA to reach a broader audience, deliver new business and capability concepts, and retail solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of marketing, PR, storytelling, and event management.
- Expertise in creating creative concepts and value propositions for customers
- In-depth knowledge in strategic exploration, innovation and partnership initiatives end-to-end from opportunity to deployment
- Motivated by driving change and challenging the status quo to serve the IKEA vision
- Enthusiasm for working with a diverse set of teams and partners in highly collaborative settings.
- Effective networker, capable of building strong and trustful relationships on different levels inside and outside IKEA.
- Committed to leading and developing multidisciplinary competences of leaders through interdependent leadership.

Your responsibilities
​​Lead the creative capability in the assigned Xplore Portfolio team. Generate creative concepts capturing and nurturing what emerges from strategic explorations, with focus on framing, defining and designing communication and marketing ideas for test and evaluation and to create strong PR for IKEA.​

To give a couple of concrete examples you will:

- Lead the creative capability in the Xplore Portfolio team and for generating creative concepts connected to the explorations and business (cases).
- Frame, define and design new communication and marketing ideas in the Xplore Portfolio team for test and evaluation and to create strong PR for both projects and Xplore function.
- Lead the IKEA 5-step communication approach, as an integrated part of the Xplore portfolio team approach and DNS+ process, and for creating creative concepts to meet the many people with speed and tactical choices.
- Build an external creative network focusing on unique capabilities as well as building the capacities to produce communication solutions fast.
- Build relationships with modern media outlets as well as influencing persons to create a unique and strong presence for Xplore over time.
Together as a team
This is a role is based in Malmö Sweden and part of Xplore in Group Strategy, Development & Innovation (SD&I). You will report to the Xplore Creative Manager and work closely with all managers, leaders and co-workers in Xplore and other key stakeholder throughout IKEA and Ingka.
